I’m a practical person and measure my success by achievements. Normally, I’m more of a doer than a talker, but since this is the “About Us” page, here goes!
The Start
Before graduating in 2007, I began my professional journey in Jerusalem as a trainee at a local CPA firm in 2004, where I gained hands-on experience in Tax, Accounting and Finance. This early exposure not only equipped me with essential skills and a solid understanding of the profession but also laid the foundation for what has now become 20 years of experience in the field.
Between 2007 and 2012, I broadened my expertise through diverse roles across various industries. I worked as a Procurement Assistant with UNDP in Amman, a Procurement Assistant Manager at a glass import/export company in Jerusalem, and a Sales Manager in my family business in Ajman, UAE. These roles allowed me to develop skills in procurement, international trade, and leadership.
In 2012, I joined a Big Four firm, where I spent 12 years deepening my knowledge and expertise in accounting, tax, finance and technology. These experiences laid a strong foundation for a 20+ year journey, spanning multiple industries and countries.
Global Experience and Technological Growth
The year 2019 marked a pivotal shift in my career toward technology. While still with the Big Four firm, I attended a training in Cairo, my first true introduction to the tech world. Motivated by this experience, I began dedicating three hours daily to learning about technology. Later that year, I was fortunate to join a three-month tour with the emerging technology team in the Dubai office, which solidified my passion for innovation.
By 2020, I had established myself as a change agent for the tax line of services, collaborating with an incredible team to drive innovation. In 2021, I made the bold decision to leave the Big Four firm, embarking on my journey as a freelance consultant. While it was a significant step, I remain deeply grateful to the firm for the invaluable expertise and experiences that continue to shape my career to this day. My focus as a consultant has been on providing tax and financial guidance while empowering small businesses to thrive through technology.
The Move to Ai and Independent Consulting
In 2023, I encountered Ai tools like ChatGPT, which deepened my commitment to tech. Inspired by its potential, I immersed myself in Ai, focusing on machine learning, NLP, and data science. During my CAIE studies, it became clear that the next smart step was to find the best cloud platform to make Ai solutions applicable and scalable for my clients. I chose AWS as the ideal platform and immediately began the AWS learning path to master its tools and bring innovative, cloud-based solutions to life.
In 2024, I earned my certification as a Certified Artificial Intelligence Engineer and built this website with a vision to make Ai accessible and useful for everyone! My journey with AWS continues as I explore more advanced ML tools to further enhance the solutions I provide to my clients.
